Tak Bat Dok Mai (Offering of Flowers to Monks) is a rare and sacred Buddhist tradition found nowhere else in the world. This remarkable merit-making ceremony takes place only once a year during the Buddhist Lent at Wat Phra Phutthabat Ratchaworamahawihan, located in Phra Phutthabat District, Saraburi Province.

During the event, devotees offer sacred flowers to monks, believing that this act brings powerful spiritual merit and blessings. The monks then carry these flowers to pay homage at the revered Buddha’s Footprint, creating a deeply moving and visually stunning procession. Participating in Tak Bat Dok Mai is believed to bestow great fortune, spiritual fulfillment, and lasting merit upon all who take part.
