The Swahili word for welcome. This is precisely what Karibu Africa Safaris stands for – to welcome our guests and guarantee a hospitable and unforgettable stay in East and southern Africa. Whether you go on safari, climb mountains like Kilimanjaro or laze on the white sandy beaches, our people are waiting to give you an incredible holiday. We make sure that you will have use of the best equipment and services; we use strong canvas tents and new four-wheel-drive cars for camping safaris. Our lodge safaris offer a wide choice of lodges and luxury cars. We have the best guides and cooks for expeditions like climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, hiking through the Ngorongoro Highlands and bush treks. We'll take care of all these matters so you don’t have to worry about them. At our main office in Arusha, Tanzania, a professional team under Dutch, British and Tanzanian management makes sure everything goes as planned. A 24-hour emergency number is always available and our various offices throughout East and Southern Africa make sure that wherever you are, you will receive specialised services immediately. Africa is special, but requires a specialist approach. We have plenty of expertise at our disposal, so you will receive excellent value for money. That’s why we say, on behalf of all our employees, Karibu!
