Uganda’s Ministry of Health has confirmed that the recent Ebola cases identified in Uganda were imported from the DRC, while WHO stated that no local transmission had been identified in Uganda at the time of reporting.

Active surveillance, screening, contact tracing, and rapid response measures remain in place nationwide.
