ALERT 🚨: UGANDA RHINOS 🦏

When planning your trip to Uganda, take note of visiting the white Rhinos. These big giants are one of the "big five" icons commonly the people's safari favorites!

Rhino tracking can be done in a day visit for the short or work visitors. People with longer stays, or longer safari circuits it's combined with murchison falls national Park before going to kibale Forest for chimpanzee tracking.

Rhinos are found in Ziwa rhino sanctuary in nakasongola district, Nakitoma village about 170km and 3 - 4hrs drive North of Kampala.

The sanctuary was established in 2005, to act as the breeding ground for the rhinos after being reintroduced in Uganda and it's the main site where visitors can currently track rhinos on foot

Currently the rhinos numbers are increasing in their population making it about 60 rhinos in total.

Recently in March, some of the rhinos have been translocated to Kidepo valley national Park, in the North-east corner of the Uganda's board with South Sudan about 560km from kampala which makes it a complete " big five" Safari in kidepo valley national Park!

In 2024, there was a story of a hiker who was hiking mountain yuntai, in China and found a secret pipe feeding or supplying the tallest water fall in china! 🤣

The top of Yuntai Mountain Waterfall, is touted as China's tallest uninterrupted tallest waterfall.

Later the Officials for Yuntai Mountain Geopark, a UNESCO-listed site, made a bizarre social media post, "apologising for the additional pipe, indicating as just an enhancement for continuous water flow even in dry seasons such that tourists don't get disappointed on their visits 😜!.

Millions of tourists visit the 1024ft-tall waterfall every year, drawn in by the ancient geological formations that date back more than a billion years.

Learning about this, I was left speechless 🙊 and wondering how Uganda is naturally gifted with all the water falls (sipi falls, Murchison falls) flowing throughout the years we have been on Earth 🌎 without stopping and it doesn't receive even 20% of that Chinese tourist!

Then I now I know why Uganda is more beautiful, but naturally gifted too for any reason for any person to come and take a visit to our natural wonders.
