Saturday, 9/12/26 at the Orleans County Marine Park, 1110 Point Breeze Rd, Kent will be the Pop-up & Jam event hosted by the Friends of Orleans County Marine Parks, the Oak Orchard Neighborhood Association and Carlton Community Heart & Soul. There will be 20 vendors including flea market, arts & crafts, tarot card readings, Dubby's Wood Fired and Clarendon Lions club serving food. Admission is FREE!

10 AM - 6 PM: Vendor show featuring the OONA Emporium flea market
11 AM: Bicentennial Ox dedication
Noon: Tom Keefer And Celtic Cross
2 PM: The Coupe de Ville
4 PM: The Eddie Joe Clark Band

This event is made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrant Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the office of the Governor and the New York State legislature and administered by GO ART!

Orleans County will host a remembrance service on the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.

WHAT: 9/11 Remembrance Service
WHEN: Friday, September 11, 2026 at 6 p.m.
WHERE: The 9/11 Memorial at the Orleans County Courthouse Square, 1 S. Main St., Albion, NY.

The event will include county EMS personnel, local law enforcement agencies, volunteer fire companies and local veterans’ organizations. The ceremony will include remarks from Legislature Chairman Lynne Johnson; a memorial address from Senior Coroner Scott Schmidt, who spent an extended period of time at Ground Zero as part of the Federal Mortuary Response and Recovery team; and a reading of the timeline of events by Orleans County OEM Director Justin Niederhofer.

The opening prayer will be offered by Rev. David Fish who also spent time at Ground Zero. Local musician Doug Egling will provide a musical tribute. The combined American Legion and VFW Posts will have an honor guard and provide a military r***e salute along with the playing of TAPS.

This Saturday (9/12) is looking to be perfect weather for our Pop-up & Jam event at the Orleans County Marine Park in Point Breeze. From 10 AM to 6 PM, there will be over 20 flea market and arts & craft vendors selling unique items, a tarot card reader offering readings, and live music. Plus Dubby's Wood Fired Pizza!
