This steam locomotive is Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway No. 2926, one of the largest and most powerful steam locomotives ever built in the United States. It is a famous piece of New Mexico railroad history, and this photograph captures it beautifully with the golden light and dramatic clouds typical of the Land of Enchantment.

Think of visiting the Wheels Museum when you are in Albuquerque. Preservation of the steam locomotive history, which was a big part of our country’s development.
This huge toy train display is sooo cool!

What’s my favorite thing to make with a fresh roasted green chile you say?
Remove the stem and the heart of seeds peel it and put it in a fresh tortilla with butter. Roll it up and enjoy!

We enjoy taking motorcoach tour groups to our favorite places. This group is in front of red chile ristras. The New Mexico official state question is “red or green” and if you are undecided, you can order both by asking for “christmas”.

Another Fiesta comes to an end. We enjoyed 9 days and 5 nights of balloons! Balloons! Balloons! Thank you to everyone who rode our “Easy Way” Transportation service. We enjoyed getting you in swiftly using our closed route pass that keeps us out of long lines of passenger car traffic.
