We really enjoyed our two nights in Paros. It is such a beautiful island and offered a wonderful change of pace.

The ferry port in Mykonos was busy and a bit of organized chaos, as always, but once aboard, the trip to Paros was short and easy. And of course, having a driver waiting just for you upon arrival brings an immediate sense of calm.

We had a wonderful arrival experience at our hotel. As a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, Andronis Minois exudes quiet luxury. Beautiful views, delicious food, and genuinely kind people welcomed us from the moment we arrived.

After settling in, we headed to Naoussa for an afternoon of strolling and shopping. We stopped at a few cute spots along the way for drinks and views.

Dinner that evening was so much fun. The setting right on the water was beautiful, and the food was very good. But the real star of the night was the napkin party. When in Paros, you have to join in, right?

The next morning, we toured three smaller inland villages with our private guide. It was interesting to see a different side of the island away from the beach towns. One of the highlights was visiting the home of a local Greek family who graciously welcomed us inside and shared a glimpse of everyday life on Paros.

Lunch was at a traditional taverna in Marpissa, where we enjoyed some wonderful local dishes. You really have not had Greek salad until you have had it in Greece.

The afternoon was spent relaxing by our private pool before another lovely dinner accompanied by a beautiful sunset view.

We will definitely miss Paros, but we are excited for the next chapter of our Greek adventure as we head to Santorini!

Mykonos day 2 was all about rest and relaxation!

We started the day at the spa, spent the afternoon at the beach and pool, and finished the evening with dinner at our hotel.

It was another great day in Greece! Some of the best travel days are the ones where you simply relax and soak it all in.

Myconian Imperial Mykonos. Is it your vibe? It’s a yes for me.

In the past 7 years of traveling extensively, I have learned that my preferred vibe is simply luxury with great service. I enjoy both traditional and modern aesthetics, so that part doesn’t matter as much to me personally.

One thing I am most definitely not is a “we just sleep there” person, but it’s ok if you are. I might not argue with you 😉

What matters to you most in an accommodation?

We had a great first day in Mykonos. We checked into our beautiful hotel, had a great lunch, and spent the early afternoon with Alexandros. He took us all over the island and shared great stories about Mykonos along the way.

Late afternoon and evening were spent in Mykonos Town, strolling through the charming streets, shopping, and stopping for drinks in some of the fun tavernas.

My favorite part of the day was our balcony dinner. The sunset was incredible, and the views of the windmills were absolutely iconic. It was the perfect way to end our first day on the island. 💙

You have a choice. You can wander historical sites pretty clueless and see the buildings as just artifacts or you can go with Athena. She brings the places to life with fun stories about Greek mythology.

After that, I highly recommend you go on a food tour with her.

Don’t know Athena? It’s okay, I do. 💙

🌸 Happy Mother’s Day 🌸

Today we celebrate all the women who make life’s journeys more meaningful. The memory-makers, the caretakers, the ones who somehow hold it all together while making every trip feel magical.

Here’s to the women who taught us to explore, to dream big, and to always pack snacks “just in case.”

Wishing you a beautiful Mother’s Day filled with love, laughter, and maybe even a little wanderlust.

PS - she appreciates the breakfast in bed but really wants to have breakfast here soon 💛

I just spent two full days in Raleigh, North Carolina, and for once, it wasn’t just about the destination.

I was there for something a little more behind-the-scenes. I’ve officially affiliated with Travel Experts, and it opens up so many exciting new opportunities for my clients (which is always the goal).

What does that actually mean for you?
• Even stronger relationships with top suppliers around the world
• More opportunities for me to be on the ground at the best industry events so I can keep bringing you the good stuff
• Access to Virtuoso amenities at many luxury properties - think daily breakfast for two, upgrades when available, exclusive amenity up to $100 value, complimentary Wifi, and the always-appreciated early check-in / late check-out

In short: more value, more perks, and even better trips

I’m excited about what this next chapter looks like, and I can’t wait to put it to work for you!

The second half of our Mexico stay brought us to AVA Resort Cancun. It’s a newer all-inclusive that’s been on my radar to experience firsthand for clients.

It’s a beautiful, high-energy resort with multiple stunning pools, lots of dining options, and a lot going on at all times. If you’re traveling with kids or just love a lively atmosphere and constant entertainment, this is a really fun option to consider.

Like any resort, it’s not one-size-fits-all and there are a few things to think through depending on your travel style, which is exactly why I like to discuss first so I can make sure to match the right property to the right client.

For us, we had a great time enjoying the energy, the food, and the overall aesthetic. Definitely a memorable way to wrap up our trip.

The Kanai property is currently home to three incredible resorts, and while we stayed at the stunning St. Regis, we made sure to spend some time exploring the other two as well.

The Riviera Maya EDITION at Kanai
The EDITION feels modern, sleek, and effortlessly cool. It has a trendy, design-forward vibe with a great energy throughout the property.

Etéreo Auberge Resorts Collection
Etéreo is boutique and intimate, with a serene, wellness-focused atmosphere that feels very connected to nature.

All three resorts are absolutely beautiful, each with its own distinct personality. It really just depends on the kind of experience you’re looking for.

It truly never hurts my feelings to head to New York City for work.

Met with some fantastic supplier partners and carved out just enough time to play.

Theater with my girl:

Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York) - So, so good. The cutest story and genuinely fantastic performances. One of those feel-good shows that just works.

Just in Time – Second time seeing it and even better from the tables. Jonathan Groff is always fantastic. Fabulous cast.

Chess – Came for Lea Michele and Aaron Tveit and they absolutely delivered. We also discovered Nicholas Christopher, who is incredibly talented.
The plot? Not the highlight. But the all-star cast saves it. And yes - Rachel Berry can SING.

Dinner at L’Artusi and Avra were both excellent. We also snuck in some delicious scones, pizza from L’Industrie Pizzeria, and of course, our favorite tacos.

Work trip success. Time well spent.
