We are heading home from our 5th annual Clinic Girls Trip!

Yes, we missed Haley Matthews, but we were happy Dallas was able to join us since Haley is currently busy preparing for the arrival of Baby Matthews. Haley will be ready for a break this time next year! 🩵

We are coming home rested, a bit sunburned, and with lots of fun new memories.

I highly recommend grabbing some of your favorite people and going somewhere you don’t have to cook, clean, do laundry, or make many decisions for a few days. And when you ask for something, all you hear is “my pleasure.”

If you don’t travel, you should. There’s a great big world out there.

And if you don’t use our travel services, you should. We are quite good at helping you navigate that great big world.

So, where did we stay?

Unico 2087 Riviera Maya, Mexico

A beautiful adults-only all-inclusive resort south of Cancun. This was my second stay at Unico, and it did not disappoint.

One of my favorite things about this resort is the food. For an all-inclusive in this price range, the food is really very good. Add in the beautiful aesthetic, lovely pools, and great service, and there is a lot to love.

The beach, however, is not lovely.

And that is something you generally would not know unless you use a travel advisor who actually makes it a point to visit and study resorts.

Five years, five girls trips, lots of memories. Hopefully many more to come.

Happy 4th of July! 🇺🇸

Here’s to celebrating the freedom to explore, discover new places, and make memories with the people you love.

I always try to keep the week around the Fourth of July open just in case we can pick up and go on a quick family trip. This year was a no-go for our farmers, so Annsley and I took off on our own for one last long weekend before she starts her big girl job.

The Bahamas fit the bill perfectly. It’s just about an hour flight from Miami, making it one of the easiest Caribbean getaways.

We stayed at the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar but explored all three hotels on the property. My opinion on which hotel is the best fit for different travelers hasn’t changed, but I took the time to revisit each one to make sure!

Baha Mar is big, beautiful, and it’s virtually impossible to get bored. You can be as busy or as relaxed as you want to be.

Some of the highlights include:
• A beautiful white-sand beach
• Multiple pools, including adults-only options
• A huge water park with waterslides, a lazy river, and a surf simulator
• The Caribbean’s largest casino
• More than 45 restaurants, bars, and lounges
• Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course
• Full-service luxury spa
• Tennis and pickleball courts
• Wildlife experiences with flamingos, sea turtles, and stingrays
• Shopping, live entertainment, and plenty of nightlife

Through my preferred partner benefits, I can add complimentary breakfast for two daily, a room upgrade based on availability, and a hotel credit at any of the three Baha Mar hotels. I promise the included breakfast and hotel credit will come in handy. Although mostly great, the food and drinks are pretty pricey!
