Tuesday Travel Tip ✈️

When booking flights, don't automatically choose the shortest connection.
A delayed departure, a long walk between terminals, or a last-minute gate change can turn a tight connection into a missed flight.

Take a look at the entire itinerary before booking. Consider the airport, the time of year, and how much time you'll realistically need to make your next flight.

Personally, I'd rather spend a little extra time at the airport than spend hours trying to get rebooked because I missed a connection.

Sometimes the cheapest or fastest itinerary isn't the best choice.

Tuesday Travel Tip 💳

When you travel, don’t keep every credit card and all your cash in the same wallet.
Take the cards you actually plan to use and keep a backup card somewhere secure and separate from your everyday wallet. I also recommend keeping a small amount of cash in a different location.
If your wallet gets lost or stolen, you still have a way to pay for a meal, grab transportation, or handle an unexpected expense.
Before leaving home, make sure your cards will work where you’re going and save your card issuer’s contact information somewhere you can access it.
It’s a simple backup plan that can save a lot of stress when you’re far from home.

**Tuesday Travel Tip ✈️**

Travel insurance is one of those things you hope you never need.

Trips can get interrupted. Flights get delayed, luggage gets lost, people get sick, and sometimes plans change for reasons completely outside your control.

The important part is understanding what your policy actually covers. Travel insurance policies are not all the same, and there can be limits, exclusions, and deadlines for purchasing certain types of coverage.

My advice: don’t wait until the last minute. Look at your options when you book your trip, read the coverage details, and ask questions if something isn’t clear.

Hopefully you never use it. If something does happen, you’ll be glad you planned ahead.
