Just one of the cool places to visit when you stay at Memory Lane.

Maine's Lovejoy Covered Bridge has been standing since 1868, stretching 70 feet across the Ellis River with its rare Paddleford truss design and graceful laminated arches. It once carried horses, wagons, and log haulers...and today, you can still walk across it and imagine the sounds of hooves echoing off the timbers. It’s the shorest covered bridge still standing in the state today, one of Maine’s few surviving 19th-century covered bridges and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. You’ll find it just off Route 5, surrounded by quiet woods and river rocks...perfect for photos, a peaceful stroll, or just soaking in some real New England history.
