Puerto Vallarta is not the kind of Mexico trip where you only sit at the pool and call it a day.

You can, obviously. No judgment. A good pool chair has never hurt anybody 😎 But Puerto Vallarta is where the jungle practically spills into the ocean, and if you like a trip with a little adventure mixed into the pretty views, this destination deserves a spot on your list.

Here’s what three days could look like:

Day 1 starts on the water, sailing through Banderas Bay by catamaran with lunch included. Think ocean breeze, mountain views, and a stop near Playa Colomitos, a tiny little beach that feels tucked away from the rest of the world. End the day with one of those experiences you do not forget easily: baby sea turtles making their way to the ocean at sunset. 🐢

Day 2 takes you into the Sierra Madre Mountains for the fun stuff. RZR trails, jungle views, ziplining through the trees, and crossing Jorullo Bridge, which is not exactly for the “I’m just here to hold everyone’s bags” traveler. Wrap it up with tequila tasting, because balance matters. 🍹

Day 3 slows things down without making it boring. Spend time at the Vallarta Botanical Gardens, hike the trails, swim in the river, and keep your eyes open for military macaws flying overhead. It is peaceful, beautiful, and still feels like you actually did something.

That is what I love about Puerto Vallarta.

It gives you beach, jungle, wildlife, culture, adventure, and relaxation without making you choose just one version of vacation.

Here’s what the booking sites, like Expedia, won’t tell you about that "perfect"vacation deal…

That oceanview room might technically have an ocean view, but only if you lean over the balcony, squint past three palm trees, and ignore the rooftop in front of you 😅

That resort that looks relaxing in the photos might have a totally different vibe once the swim up bar turns into spring break at 3 PM.

And that "all inclusive" price might not include the restaurants, room category, beach setup, or experience you thought you were getting.

That’s the stuff I pay attention to.
I’m not just clicking buttons and hoping for the best. I’m looking at the full picture.

The resort vibe.
The room category.
The beach.
The dining.
The layout.
The location.
The little details that can make a trip feel amazing…or like a very expensive lesson.

A deal is only a deal if it actually matches the vacation you had in mind.

So yes, you can absolutely book it yourself.
But if you’d rather have someone help you choose the right resort, the right room, the right destination, and the right overall fit, that’s what I'm here for!

Your PTO deserves better than "well, the pictures looked nice." 😉

Food you should try on your next Disney trip: Pulled Pork Nachos from Capt. Cook’s at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. 🌺

You know I love a shareable portion to stretch your $$$

You get a generous serving of house made chips loaded with pulled pork, cheese, spicy mayo, pico, and pineapple salsa. It's sweet, savory, and messy as heck so you know it's good 😂

Even better? You do not need a park ticket to grab them.

Capt. Cook’s is a quick service spot at the Polynesian, so this is a great option for a resort day, a monorail resort crawl, or a Magic Kingdom break when you need food that is not just another basket of chicken nuggets.

Disney food tip: some of the best snacks are hiding at the resorts, not inside the parks 😉

Universal Kids Resort hasn't even opened yet and already the bad internet advice is in full force 🥴

Bad information I've seen so far:
"If you have a resort stay you don't need park tickets."
"All food is included with your stay."
"If you buy the annual pass you can stay at the resort for free."
"Teenagers aren't allowed."
"They will open booking for year round once it officially opens."

Let me debunk this:
It's just like any theme park. If you want to stay on-site you'll need to book a room + ticket package. If you book a room only, you would still need theme park admission to get into the park. There are 1, 1.5, and 2 day park tickets (or annual passes.)

Food will be a separate purchase. This isn't an all inclusive 😆

While there is an annual pass the includes parking, there is no option that includes free rooms. Come on, people 😅

The park is themed with younger children in mind, but there is no age restriction.

It's not going to be a year round, seven days a week operation. The park will have a seasonal operating schedule.

Universal Kids Resort is going to be really fun for the right family, especially those with younger kids who want something easy, colorful, and built around characters they already love. But please do not plan an entire vacation around something you saw in a comment section from someone named Linda who "heard it from a friend." 😂

This is a brand new resort experience with its own ticket options, hotel setup, and seasonal schedule, so the details actually matter. This isn't like Universal Orlando or Hollywood.

If Universal Kids Resort is on your radar for 2026, I can help you sort through what is real, what is wishful thinking, and what actually makes sense for your family.

A little extra May celebration. I’m so grateful to share that I was the Top Universal Orlando agent for the month!

This one means a lot because Universal is one of my favorite places, personally, and it's one of my favorite trips to help plan. There are so many moving pieces, from choosing the right hotel to deciding on Express Pass, VIP tours, park tickets, Epic Universe plans, Volcano Bay days, dining, transportation, and all the little details in between.

Universal trips can feel a little overwhelming if you’re trying to piece it all together on your own. Getting to help my clients make sense of it and actually enjoy the planning process is such a fun part of what I do!

Thank you to every client who trusted me with their Universal Orlando vacation in May. I appreciate it more than you know and I truly am invested in each of your trips!

Feeling really grateful to be one of the Top 10 agents for May 💕

Every booking represents a traveler trusting me with something they’ve been looking forward to, and I don’t take that lightly.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support my business, send referrals, share my posts, and trust me with your vacations. It truly means so much!

May gave us a whole lot to celebrate around here ✨

Behind every booking is an agent who listened closely, asked the right questions, compared the options, watched for the better price, and made sure their clients felt taken care of from the first quote to the final countdown.

That kind of work does not always show up in a pretty graphic, but it absolutely matters.

So today we are celebrating our Top 10 Pixies for May and the incredible trips they created last month 🥂

Whether you made this list or you spent May planting seeds, serving clients well, learning something new, or quietly pushing your business forward, we see you. This team is full of women who care deeply, work hard, and make travel feel easier for the families trusting us with their memories.

Congratulations, ladies! May was one for the books 💕

We all do the vacation math.
What is worth spending a little more on? What can we skip? Where do we want the convenience, and where are we fine winging it?

And this is one of those upgrades that does not sound exciting until you are off the plane, stressed getting through the airport, holding luggage, and already trying to keep everyone happy.

Starting your Walt Disney World vacation with a peaceful, seamless ride from Orlando International Airport to your Disney Resort is one of those splurges that can feel VERY worth it 💸

Enter: Minnie Van airport service.

This is not the service you request through the Lyft app when you are going from your resort to the parks, Disney Springs, or dinner around Walt Disney World.

The airport Minnie Van option has to be reserved in advance by phone, and it can be booked starting 60 days before your trip and up until 2 days prior, based on availability.

And yes, it is a whole experience.

🚗 Chevrolet Suburban style vehicle
👨‍✈️ Driven by Disney Cast Members
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Seats up to 6 guests
🧃 Water and snacks included
🎶 Disney music to set the mood
📺 Disney movie or Disney+ show for the ride
🧼 Damp towels because Florida travel days are no joke
👶 Car seats and booster seats available for little Mouseketeers

The service is currently available for guests staying at Disney Deluxe Resorts, Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts, or Club Level at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, and it is $249 one way.

Is it the cheapest airport transportation option? Nope.

But after an early flight, luggage chaos, airport crowds...having a Cast Member waiting to take you straight into the Disney bubble is pretty darn magical✨

Have you ever used Minnie Van service at Disney, either from the airport or around property? I want to hear your experience! You already know that I, personally, LOVE Minnie Vans!

After planning a Walt Disney World vacation, planning Disneyland can feel almost suspiciously manageable 😂

Disneyland Resort is compact and so much easier to hop around than Walt Disney World, but that does not mean you can just wing it and magically fit everything in.

✨ Disneyland Park is where the classic Disney magic lives. Sleeping Beauty Castle, Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, Matterhorn, Indiana Jones Adventure, Mickey’s Toontown, Galaxy’s Edge, and so many rides that either started it all or feel extra special here.

🎡 Disney California Adventure has a completely different energy. This is where you’ll find Cars Land, Avengers Campus, Pixar Pier, Radiator Springs Racers, Incredicoaster, Guardians of the Galaxy, amazing food, and World of Color at night.

One of the biggest mistakes I see people make with Disneyland is assuming smaller means not a lot to see and do.

It is definitely easier to navigate than Disney World, but Disneyland is packed. There are SO many attractions close together, lots of entertainment, character moments, nighttime spectaculars, great food, park hopping that doesn't take 2 forms of transportation, and little details you will miss if you do not have a plan.

Because the two parks are literally right across from each other, your strategy looks totally different than it does in Florida. You can start your morning in Disneyland, hop to California Adventure for lunch, then end the night back on Main Street for fireworks. That kind of flexibility is amazing, but it also means your dining, Lightning Lane choices, hotel location, and park order matter.

Disneyland is especially great for families who love Disney but do not want the full Disney World production. Fewer buses. Less sprawl.

If you're thinking about Disneyland, let's chat!

Some Disney families eventually hit the point where they still want the magic, but they also want a lounge chair, an ocean breeze, and nobody asking them to rope drop anything 😂

🌺That is exactly where Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, Hawaii comes in!

Aulani is perfect for the family who has done Walt Disney World, maybe checked Disneyland off the list, and now wants something that feels tropical, relaxing, and special without giving up the Disney touches their kids still love.

You get the beauty of Hawaii with the comfort and service Disney does so well:

🌊 Gorgeous pools, lazy river, splash areas, and waterslides
🏖️ A protected beach lagoon that feels made for families
🌺 Hawaiian culture woven throughout the resort in a meaningful way
🍹 Actual relaxing vacation energy for the grown ups
🐭 Character experiences with a tropical twist
✨ Incredible sunsets, beautiful rooms, and that polished Disney resort feel
💆‍♀️ Spa time, beach time, pool time, and not rushing to be anywhere time

It is not a theme park trip, and that is kind of the whole point.

It is Disney magic with saltwater in your hair.
It is a family vacation where the kids are entertained and the adults can actually exhale.
It is for the Disney lover who is ready for something softer, slower, and a little more luxurious.

And this fall, there is a great offer available:

🌺 Save up to 30% on select stays of 5 or more nights at Aulani

✨ Save 30% on stays of 5 or more consecutive nights
✨ Save 25% on stays of 4 consecutive nights

Valid for select rooms and villas for stays most nights October 19 through December 23, 2026, with checkout no later than December 24, 2026.

This is such a good fit for families who want a big vacation without the theme park pace or even Disney adults who want a tropical escape!

Because sometimes the next Disney trip does not need a castle, it needs a beach!

Email me and let’s look at what Aulani could look like for your family this fall.

Everyone talks about Disney Springs for dinner, but lunch deserves way more attention!

A lot of the most popular Disney Springs restaurants get packed in the evenings, especially once people are done with the parks and locals are off work.

But midday? That can be a totally different story.

Depending on the season, your group size, and where you are hoping to eat, you may have better luck with walk up availability in the afternoon than trying to squeeze into a popular dinner spot later that night.

This is such a good idea if you are planning a non park day, taking a slower morning at the resort, or wanting a break from the heat without committing to a plan in advance.

Grab lunch, shop a little, get something sweet, let everyone cool off, and then head back to the resort before Disney Springs hits its evening chaos 😅

It is not that dinner at Disney Springs is bad. It is just that lunch can be easier and sometimes a lot less stressful.

That is the kind of vacation strategy people do not think about until they are standing outside a restaurant at 7:00 PM wondering why everyone else had the same idea 😉
