Princess Cruises has rolled out some notable changes to its popular Princess Plus and Princess Premier packages, affecting what's included—and what's not—for guests sailing in 2026. These updates aim to streamline the experience while still offering strong value, though some inclusions have shifted.

What’s Been Removed
Both the Plus and Premier packages have eliminated a few previously included perks:
Unlimited bottled water has been replaced with a cap of 12 bottles per day per guest (500ML size).
Premium desserts, fitness classes, and Princess Prizes are no longer included in either package.

What’s Been Added
Both packages now include four casual dining meals per guest, up from the previous two. This increase offers more flexibility and convenience, especially for guests who enjoy the relaxed dining options onboard without the added cost.

Another addition is the Shore Excursion Credit to the Premier package.
6–9 days: $100 per guest
10–20 days: $200 per guest
21+ days: $300 per guest

These changes show a continued effort by Princess Cruises to evolve its fare packages while keeping pricing competitive and simplifying the guest experience. For travelers looking for value without sacrificing convenience, Princess Plus remains a solid upgrade. Those wanting the ultimate ease, dining freedom, and tech perks will find Princess Premier still leads the way—just with a few less sweet treats along the way.
