My daughter Jada and I had a Perfect Day at CocoCay ❤️ I definitely think this is the best cruise ship private island out there!

My favorite part as an adult traveling without young children is the adults-only area: Hideaway Beach. They have a fantastic infinity pool overlooking the beach complete with the island's only DJ!

The beach features beautiful white sand and crystal-clear blue waters in the lagoon, protected by a rock barrier that stops incoming waves from crashing onto the shore. The barrier takes the pressure, and the calm water gently flows in via an opening on the side.

If you want to escape the sun, or if there's a passing rain shower, you can kick back in a gorgeous covered bar area equipped with fans, TVs, a pool table, shuffleboard, and live music—plus amazing views of the ship, lagoon, and beach below!

When it's time to eat, Hideaway Beach offers a more exclusive, streamlined menu featuring burgers, salads, pizza, and more. And the best part? If you're craving even more variety, the main dining areas are just a short tram ride away. Everything is all-you-can-eat and included, and yes—there are still staffed ice cream stations for that classic beach-day treat! When I was asked 16 months ago to help coordinate and book the rooms for a convention on a cruise ship, I knew it would be a wild ride. Planning a massive event on a moving vessel in international waters isn't easy, but working with Royal Caribbean, my great rep-Robin Washington and the fabulous PMU team to bring this to life has been worth every second! 🚢✨

Yesterday, I finally boarded Royal Caribbean’s Wonder of the Seas, with over 400 talented makeup artists from all over the world—including Australia, New Zealand, London, the Philippines, Canada, Mexico and across the U.S.

One of the reasons I started my agency over 5 years ago was to help people discover travel and cruising, guide those who didn’t know where to start, and make the whole process completely stress-free. From handling room bookings for the group to coordinating hotels and transfers, seeing guests who never thought they’d step foot on a cruise ship now feel completely at home—and watching them marvel at this beautiful cruise ship—is the ultimate reward.
