The early morning proved exciting. The Custer State Park Buffalo Roundup was an exciting event to attend. Watching over 1,000 Buffalo come over the hills and rounded up, and guided into the corral was amazing! Also got to go up to the area where they worked the Buffalo...what an organized event! We then visited Dahl's Chainsaw Art in Keystone where a couple of the artists demonstrated the art of Chainsaw art...watching a log take the shape of an eagle was intriguing. It was fun watching a piece of wood take on a personality. We ended our day with a visit to Mt. Rushmore.

Wow...what a fabulous day. Started the morning by going on a Buffalo 🐃 Safari Jeep tour through Custer State Park. We saw many Buffalo, prairie dogs, burro, antelope, deer and more. Lunch at the Blue Bell Lodge, time at the Arts and Crafts Festival, driving the Wildlife Loop Road, and an entertaining Chuckwagon Supper. Fun for all! Lots of laughs today.

What an educational day! We started the morning off visiting the Tatanka Museum. Our remarkable tour guide captured our attention with his amazing story telling skills. The museum was the brain child of Kevin Costner! We then partook in an entertaining tour Deadwood, including the gravesites of Clamity Jane and Wild Bill Hickok and more. Then it was off to Dahl's Chainsaw Art where Jordan shared their story. So proud of the Dahl boys!
It was a beautiful drive through Spearfish Canyon and then a tour to the amazing Crazy Horse Memorial. So interesting to see the progress. Supper was at the 1885 Saloon in Hill City.
