Can we talk about for a minute?
What an amazing place! This family owned restaurant specializes in , a traditional Croatian method of cooking that involves braising under an iron bell (peka) over open flames and coals for hours. The end result is melt in your mouth meat and seafood that is the highlight of this multi course meal!

A day well spent in Hvar! We had a private tour of the historical city center and fortress, shopped for lavender, dined on Dalmatian cuisine and thoroughly enjoyed this island.

ASID Carolinas Designing Destination Croatia keeps getting better and better! Yesterday we boarded the , our home for the next week. Crew is amazing and our luxury yacht is ๐
Our first stop was in the quaint town of with a visit to the school. One of only 3 in Europe that still teaches manual stone carving! We had a few minutes to shop for olive oil (some of the best in Croatia) before continuing on to this afternoon.

Let's talk about Saint Vincent! Arrived yesterday afternoon and were immediately treated like VIPs! Whisked away to for in vehicles that met us at the PLANE and zipped through rush hour traffic with a police es**rt! What an amazing welcome to this beautiful island!
We love ! The resort is stunning and the staff are incredible. They made it feel like home right away!

What better way to spend a Friday than an in-depth presentation from the Honourable Carlos James, Minister of Tourism and the tourist board for St. Vincent and the Grenadines hosted by Sandals? It was fabulous and we are even MORE excited for Sandals St. Vincent (if that could even be possible)!
St. Vincent and the Grenadines is a multi-island country in the Southern Caribbean (located between St. Lucia and Grenada) made up of 32 islands. Most are actually uninhabited and some are vacation hotspots for billionaires and royalty. Remember all of the stunning Caribbean imagery of Pirates of the Caribbean? That movie was partially filmed on the island of Bequia. St. Vincent and the Grenadines offers visitors an authentic, off-the-beaten-path Caribbean experience and is definitely a country where you will want to spend time both enjoying Sandals St. Vincent and exploring this unique destination!

It's been an amazing few days here in Milan with North Carolina Medical Group Management Association! Highlights included a visit with physicians and researchers at the San Raffaele University Infectious Disease Unit, two different tours of Milan with visits to many sights of interest including the Duomo, La Scala Theater, Sforza Castle and a viewing of DaVinci's Last Supper. All mixed with lots of shopping, espresso, gelato and amazing food. We ended things with Milan's aperitivo tradition and spectacular views of the Duomo! Ciao Milano! ๐ฎ๐น

After more than a year of planning we are excited to spend this week with North Carolina Medical Group Management Association in Geneva and Milan. So far we've enjoyed presentations at the World Health Organization and the IFRC Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies Care in Communities , along with a little sight seeing, lots of shopping and a fabulous day trip to Annecy, France. We love creating customized group itineraries with unique and exclusive experiences for our clients!

Happy Cinco de Mayo! A day as popular here in the USA as it is in Puebla, Mexico!
Speaking of Puebla... this central Mexican state is pretty fabulous. Puebla is home to stunning architecture, a vibrant art community and fantastic culinary scene. The Barrio del Artista in Pueblo City was once a favorite place for Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera and it still thrives today. Puebla City is a UNESCO World Heritage site known for colonial buildings and decorative arts. The food in this Mexican region is pretty fantastic with mole poblano, chalupas and chiles en nogada being some of the more famous cuisine.
Then there is the beloved Cinco de Mayo which is NOT related to Mexican Independence Day AT ALL, but it is a great underdog triumphs over tyranny story. Plus it gave the world a day to celebrate all the things we love about Mexican food and culture. A definite win for us all! ๐ฒ๐ฝ ๐๐คโค๏ธ
