Teach 'em young!

This young cub spotted what he THOUGHT was an easy lunch. He chased the salmon for maybe 50 yards in the shallows, the salmon now bite fast enough enough to get away, but the bear cub not quite savvy enough to know how to make the catch.

Finally, right as he was ab out to fall on the fish and stop it's progress, a young male bear stepped out of the bushes on the shore, scared the cub, who fled back to his mom, and the fish made a lucky escape into deeper water.

Super fun to watch this young cub chase his first salmon though.
