Flying back to Austin. I wasn't sad at all to be leaving the east coast and that was a relief. In my mind it means that I'm karmically done.

This feels so right!
Have you ever been somewhere like a job or a town where you knew you weren't going to be there long but you felt like you had a purpose for being there in the meantime? That's Austin for me.

There was definitely unfinished business and it's been made clear to me what

I intuited the first time around living in this city: I've always been meant to travel. This is who I am and this IS my job; to exist in places and regions on both sides of the Atlantic. Texas was just meant to be the home base.

This past year, I worked at the airport because I loved to be where I could watch the planes come in and fly out.(Flying out is the best!) But I wasn't sold on what I was doing while there. I kept connecting with other travelers and travel professionals, sharing little anecdotes, personal advice in exchange for ones they could give in return. But it wasn't enough even though I tried to make it enough (and trust me when I tell you I tried).

I found another job and ended up having a very similar experience and this brought me to a very crystal clear realization. I am clearly meant to work in travel advising, arranging, and bringing peace of mind to those who honor me with their trust. It hasn't left me alone and I can't seem to NOT identify with being a traveler no matter how deeply I go within, meditate, or try to re-imagine myself.

So I finally stopped second guessing myself. I made a solid decision to re-brand and focus on air travel to meet the needs of so many who have asked for my expertise about how to get from the airport destination to their accommodation. Since I have relied on various transport options when I travel around this world, I am able to give pretty solid advice on how they can manage in a place that's new to them. (In fact, right now, I can give you a detailed itinerary for getting around Austin by public transport, which I highly do not recommend).

So, if you are struggling, nervous, or feeling apprehensive about traveling by plane and then taking transport to your accommodation after, then I'm your gal to call!
