That surprise bill at checkout has ruined more vacations than a sunburn 🥵
Adult-only all-inclusive resorts in Cancun and Punta Cana cover a LOT, but not everything.

1️⃣ Most all-inclusive resorts pour house brands at no added cost.
If you want the premium bottle, some resorts charge for it. Check whether your resort includes top-shelf liquor before you book. If it’s included, make sure to ask for it. Otherwise you will still be poured the cheap stuff.
2️⃣ The spa is where most honeymoon budgets quietly grow.
Couples massages and facials are almost always paid separately, even at an adult-only all-inclusive. Great thing for your honeymoon fund. 🧖🧖♀️
3️⃣ That candlelit table on the beach is not part of your package.
Private dinners are a paid add-on at most resorts in Mexico, Jamaica, and the Dominican Republic. If you want one for an anniversary or honeymoon, reserve it early because the best nights fill up. 🕯️
4️⃣ Getting from the airport to your resort is easy to overlook.
Some all-inclusive packages include airport transfers, and many do not. Confirm yours in writing so you are not scrambling for a ride after a long flight.

5️⃣ House w**e comes with your all-inclusive.
Ordering from the w**e list usually does not. If you are celebrating with a nice bottle at dinner, expect to see it on your bill. 🍷
6️⃣ Swimming in a cenote in Tulum or spending a day on a catamaran in Punta Cana costs extra.
Excursions are booked separately from your resort stay. Budget for the ones you care about most before you leave home. The best ones can sell out too. 🛥️
7️⃣ That swim-up suite offer at the front desk sounds great until you see the price.
Room upgrades at check-in come with a nightly charge. If a certain room matters to you, book it up front instead of hoping for an upgrade.
This is the step most couples skip.
Get the resort’s inclusions in writing, then compare THAT instead of the photos.
A lower rate with more add-ons is not actually cheaper.
