There are places you visit that stay with you long after you leave, and for me, one of those places is Civita di Bagnoregio, Italy.
This tiny hilltop town has only about a dozen year round residents and feels completely untouched by time. The only way in is by walking across a 300 meter pedestrian bridge overlooking the valley below. By the time you arrive, it already feels like part of the experience.
It’s quiet, beautiful, and unlike anywhere else I’ve been.
Now I’d love to hear from you. What is one city or town you believe everyone should visit at least once in their lifetime?
