Josh came down from NC with one goal in mind and that was to land his first ever shark! After a long night of dealing with not so perfect conditions considering a huge tide, a ungodly amount of dead floating marsh grass, several short runs with small sharks dropping our bait and then the BITE we where looking for finally came with a blistering run and the Okuma Fishing USA 80LBS Makaira getting dumped for over 200yds on the initial hook set we managed to turn the beast and getting a handful of cranks on the reel before the fish turns again and we get cut off on our 200lb topshot. Then silence was upon us for the next several hours and just as we were packing up camp for the night our Mak 80 we call Boogey man takes off! After a quick fight this hefty little Lowcountry bull shark turned the whole night around🦈🐂💪 let’s just our new buddy Josh is hooked!
