About: Clean, comfortable neighborhood bar with something for everyone from craft cocktails and wide draft selection to live music and weekly events.

This $5000 grant will help Beaufort Bar further enhance their impressive outdoor space to better serve even more patrons over their various social events.

Each of this year’s five grant winners are deeply rooted in Beaufort, NC, employing residents in our community and regularly contributing to local events and causes. This was true of so many of this year’s applicants, certainly heightening the competition! We are proud of the five recipients and look forward to seeing their progress this year.

About: Women-owned artisan leather handbag company born in Beaufort, NC.

This $5000 grant will be put back into our community by Cope & Co. to enlist either add another craftsman on the bench with their women-run team or a local maker of signs to help more customers find them!

This $5000 grant has already assisted LIFT, The Gym in purchasing brand new, state-of-the-art equipment from NC-local brand, Batca Fitness Systems. This equipment is accessible and inclusive to all gym-goers, no matter your level of experience, creating a welcoming environment for everyone.

This $5000 grant will help Magnolias on Live Oak wrap up its finishing touches, including the installation of its new smokehouse out back. We’ll be dining on local oysters here before you know it, folks!
