Greene County Convention & Visitors Bureau

Greene County Convention & Visitors Bureau Where every trail leads to adventure! Rare is the destination that provides activities at every turn, and yet, never hems you in. Conquer a rocky cliff.

But here, in the rolling hills east of Dayton, between Cincinnati and Columbus, is a destination so free with itself, it defies conventional definitions. Instead, it is a diverse mix of attitudes and adjectives: laid-back, creative, friendly, beautiful, agricultural, energy, flight, freedom, tradition, and spirit. And while it may have a structured side, it’s never routine. That’s because here, amongst main streets and meadows, there is space enough to move outside routine. Here, there is an inherent spirit of adventure. You can still summon the child-like joy of discovering something new and unexpected. You just have to get outside the limits of the city... beyond its rules... to a place that inspires creativity at every turn…Greene County. Imagine your soul infused with the lush, organic greens of Maples, Buckeyes and Pines. Imagine a palette of seasonal amber against dark, rich earth... the bright red of a barn, the stark white of a farmhouse against rows and rows of leafy greens...the pristine white of cloud streaks against an indigo sky. Now, take all the colors of nature’s crayon box and color outside the lines. Forget who you’re supposed to be and go with what feels right. Jump on a bike and explore an unmarked path. Ford a stream. Pick a fruit and eat it fresh. Or just lay on your back in a grassy park watching those clouds turn into art. Greene County offers room to be truly free. Free from rules, free to express yourself however you please. It’s an escape for your body and your spirit. And it will leave you refreshed, restored... renewed. Head for the place that’s named for vibrant color. And color…outside the lines.

🍕 Greene County Pizza Night featuring Pizza Dive

A few weeks ago, we asked you where to find great pizza in Greene County. This week, we’re following another recommendation and heading to Pizza Dive!

Pizza Dive (two locations)
📍 4021 Dayton Xenia Road, Beavercreek
📍 2760 Towne Drive, Beavercreek
🔗 pizzadive.com

Pizza Dive has been serving Beavercreek since 2008. Amy and Michael Jones took over the longtime local favorite in 2022 and this year opened a second Pizza Dive location on Towne Drive.

Pizza Dive goes beyond the usual pizza-shop setup. Grab an oversized 18-inch pie, pizza-by-the-slice, or pick up a Take-N-Make kit to finish at home. You can also pay it forward through their community Giving Board. When it comes to specialties their Pepperoni & Cream Cheese, Real Dill Pickle, Meat May-Ham, and The 215 Cheesesteak give you plenty of reasons to venture beyond plain pepperoni.

🍕 Greene County Pizza Night: HaHa Pizza

Weeks ago, we asked you where to find great pizza in Greene County. Today, we took Mash Janson’s advice and headed to HaHa Pizza in downtown Yellow Springs, OH!

HaHa Pizza
📍 108 Xenia Ave., Yellow Springs
📞 937-767-2131
🔗 hahapizzayellowsprings.com

HaHa Pizza has been part of Yellow Springs since the 1970s. A group of artists who opened the restaurant created the name as a reminder not to take things too seriously.

Since 2023, owner Patrick Grzelak has carried that spirit forward. As Grzelak told the Yellow Springs News, HaHa isn’t trying to be like the pizza spots across the street, down the road or anywhere else.

Their dough is made fresh daily and they use local ingredients to create classic and creative pizzas, including vegan and gluten-free options.

It’s more than just a place to grab food, it’s an authentic piece of the Yellow Springs experience.
