Margaritaville at Sea Islander… but let’s talk about it 👀🍹

So yes… she’s a 25-year-old ship (formerly Costa Atlantica)… but the real question is—can she still deliver with this popularity?

Short answer: YES… and I was honestly surprised.

The vibe? High energy but never chaotic. Just good people, good drinks, and that “I’m on vacation” energy 🌴

But what really stood out to me? The people. And I mean that. I’m not exaggerating when I say this might be the best crew I’ve ever experienced on any cruise line. Everywhere I went, someone made me smile—behind the bar, in the hallway, everywhere. Not scripted… just genuinely kind humans who clearly love what they do 💙

It’s also the little things. The towel animals, the personal touches, the moments that make you feel like more than just a passenger… those are the things you remember ✨

And let’s talk food 👀 because I did NOT expect to be this impressed. From fresh made-to-order breakfast to solid meals across the board… it definitely exceeded expectations.

Now for the real talk… it’s not a brand-new ship. There’s no fancy app. You’ll notice a few quirks here and there. BUT… that’s also kind of the magic.

This isn’t about trying to compete with mega ships or overwhelm you with attractions. It’s about vibe, connection, and actually enjoying your time at sea 🌊

And clearly… it’s doing something right—because we’ve sailed this brand 3 times in less than a year 🙌 Twice on Islander, once on Paradise, and we’re already looking forward to the launch of Beachcomber in 2027 out of Miami 👀

🌴 Bottom line:
Not perfect. Not flashy. But if you go in with the right expectations… it’s one of the most fun, relaxed cruise experiences you can take.

And honestly? I’d sail it again 🍹
