Located at 2,900 feet above sea level, the small village of Bigfork sits beside a sparkling blue bay where the wild, white waters of the Swan River run into the Flathead Lake. With more than 180 miles of shoreline, Flathead Lake is the largest natural freshwater lake west of the Mississippi, providing visitors a playground for fishing, boating and all varieties of water sports. For its elevation a

nd latitude, Bigfork and The Flathead Valley have a relatively mild climate, and can best be described as an area of climatic transition between coastal and continental. The high mountains of the Continental Divide at the east provide protection from the Great Plains climate while the mountains to the west interrupt passage of the Great Basin Climate found in Spokane. In addition, water surfaces associated with the many existing lakes and rivers tend to moderate temperatures in both winter and summer. The weather ranges from moderately dry summer and autumn to a moderately wet winter and spring. Annual precipitation in the Flathead averages 20.27 inches of rain and 49.0 inches of snow

What a day! The 4th of July Parade was packed with smiles, sunshine, and fun. Thank you to everyone who participated, cheered from the sidewalks, and especially to the incredible volunteers who helped make it all happen.

Family? Husband, 2 daughters, 2 dogs & BooBoo Kitty

Why Bigfork? I met my husband Tom, while visiting my parents so that kinda holds me here, he lives here too... What keeps me? Again, the husband that lives here, with me..Honestly, I’ve never been happier than being here. My family, friends and this community will keep me here forever💓

What’s your favorite Bigfork event or tradition? Tamarack Time, Clean your Fork, Decorating Day. I love the events where we come together as a community for Bigfork and each other.

Describe Bigfork in three words: Beautiful, vibrant, giving

If you weren’t in your current profession, what would you be doing? Critical care nurse

What’s your go-to coffee order? Triple shot x-hot 12 oz latte

What’s one local business (other than your own) you think everyone should know about? Good Stuff Botanicals!

How long have you been involved with the Chamber? I was elected onto the board starting in 2022 but have been volunteering since first moving here in 2018!

Education background: Bachelor in Agriculture Education from Montana State. GO CATS!

Family: My wife is Lauren Saint Pierre, married on 2/29/24. We have 2 adventure cats, Smudge and McGuu.

Why Bigfork? Why not? In all seriousness, I'm a 5th generation Montanan and wanted to be somewhere that I could make a difference ang Bigfork was the perfect fit.

What’s your favorite Bigfork event or tradition? Parade of Lights during the Holiday season. (I'm a sucker for the holiday season).

Describe Bigfork in three words: Volunteers, Entertaining, Homey.

If you weren’t in your current profession, what would you be doing? Motivational speaker or back on the family ranch for sure.

What’s your go-to coffee order? Honey Cinnamon Latte.

What’s one local business (other than your own) you think everyone should know about? Birch Provisions. Their breakfast sandwiches and curated coffee beverages are amazing. As is the store front!

Best piece of advice you’ve ever received? Tough times don't last, tough people do.

What’s a fun fact, hidden talent, or unusual skill most people don’t know? I have never broken a bone. (Knock on wood).
