One of my favorite things about Walt Disney World Resort isn’t just the parks… it’s the transportation. 🚝🚠⛴️🚌
Disney somehow makes getting from place to place feel like part of the vacation instead of just “travel.” Honestly, some of my favorite memories have happened on non-park days just hopping around the resorts and enjoying all the different ways to explore Disney property.
🚝 The Monorail
An absolute classic. There’s just something magical about gliding through Disney with that iconic “Please stand clear of the doors” announcement. Monorail crawls between the resorts are fantastic, especially on rainy or really hot days.
🚠 The Skyline
Hands down one of the most FUN ways to travel around Disney. The views are incredible, the breeze feels amazing after a park day, and it makes resort hopping feel like an attraction itself.
⛴️ The Boats & Ferries
Whether you’re heading to Magic Kingdom, Disney Springs, or hopping between resorts, the boats are such a peaceful way to slow down and enjoy the atmosphere.
🚌 The Disney Buses
Even the buses feel easy and stress-free compared to driving yourself everywhere. You can just sit back, relax, and let Disney do the work.
🚶♀️ Walking Paths
Some resorts have beautiful walking paths to parks and nearby hotels, which can actually end up being one of the quickest and most relaxing ways to get around.
🚗 Minnie Vans
Perfect when you want convenience and a little extra pixie dust. They’re such a fun option, especially for families with little ones.
One thing I always tell my clients when planning a Disney vacation: your resort choice can make a HUGE difference in your trip depending on what transportation matters most to you.
Love EPCOT and Hollywood Studios? A Skyliner resort may be perfect.Want easy Magic Kingdom access? Monorail or boat resorts are incredibly convenient.Prefer walking to the parks? Certain resorts make that possible too!
Transportation may seem like a small detail, but at Disney it truly becomes part of the experience — and honestly, part of the magic
