What kind of traveler are YOU?
Do you plant your feet in the sand with a drink in hand—or are you like me, ready to explore every corner of the island?

On my latest trip to Key West, I was on a mission: see it all. My poor husband just wanted to chill with a cold drink and some live music, but I had an itinerary (and no chill). And let me tell you—it was so worth it.

We kicked off the day in Mallory Square, browsing the cutest little shops, then made our way to the waterfront where I had one wish: spot a manatee. Lucky me—dream come true! We saw them up close and it was pure magic.

Coffee break? Yes please. We hit The Koffie House on Green Street—a cozy, vegetarian-friendly gem right on the Harbour Walk.

Lunch? Hands down, Moondog Café stole our hearts with fresh, healthy eats and tasty drinks.

Afternoon buzz? My husband was all about the Key West Legal Rum Distillery (free tastings, yes you heard that right). The coffee rum? Chef’s kiss.

We couldn’t resist stopping at Kermit’s for that iconic frozen Key Lime pie dipped in white chocolate—total must-do.

Our favorite drink? Found it at the Green Parrot Bar.

Live music + good vibes at Hog’s Breath Saloon, followed by giant, melt-in-your-mouth cookies at Matheson’s.

And we wrapped up our day at the legendary Captain Tony’s Saloon—easily our favorite spot of the trip.
