A little bit of everything today. Watch Blake adapt from still water to surprise floodgate conditions! We also had to adapt our camera situation which makes Blake a little harder to hear than usual.

One Cast is a daily fishing video, most of the time shot on Lake Taneycomo in Southwest Missouri, USA. This is fishing - we turn the GoPro on and fish. Whatever happens, happens. No do-overs. It’s fishing, not catching. We started One Cast in January, 2015 and have only missed one day of filming.

The Nevarro family joined me for a Texas sized limit of trout yesterday afternoon! We had to work a little but managed to put a great limit together! Ben and his wife joined me for a rather hard day on Taneycomo yesterday morning! However the birthday boy managed to land this chunky football of a brown for his first fish of the day! This afternoon Taylor and Kayla hit the lake for a fun afternoon of fishing. Great people and great conversation! Jeff and the gang joined me for a morning of Lake Taneycomo action this morning! The water was off but the fish didn’t mind. We caught lots of fish this morning but the highlight of the day was a trophy 20” rainbow, a 20” brown and multiple other good fish! Josh’s daughter Alice won a gift certificate I gave out at the kids free fishing day at Meramec springs! She decided her brothers could join her for her fishing trip! The fish didn’t disappoint today! The weather was wonderful and we caught them on yellow powerbait below fall creek on 2lb leader! Scott came back to fish Taney again this year and we had a good afternoon! We caught plenty of fish including a few good ones!
