It’s time to celebrate Juneteenth! Festivities in Washington County include a parade in Downtown Brenham on Saturday at 10:30am, followed by the jubilee at Fireman’s Park. Then, next Saturday, June 27, celebrate Washington on the Brazos at their annual Juneteenth event. The celebration concludes with a Juneteenth event on Sunday, June 28, at Brenham Heritage Museum. The Brenham Fire Museum in Downtown Brenham is home to THREE historic fire engines. See the restored engines, including the 1879 Silsby on Fridays, 11am - 3pm and Saturdays, 11am - 2pm.

Let’s talk PARKING so you know exactly where to go on July 4th!

We’re expecting a big crowd, so here’s where you can park when you arrive at the Washington County Expo:

Available Parking Areas
• Linda Anderson Park Parking Lot
• Large Lot between Old Independence Rd. and Hwy 105
• Overflow Parking located directly across from the Expo entrance on Blue Bell Rd.

Fireworks Viewing Only Option
Just want to watch the fireworks?
🎆 Brenham High School will be open as a viewing-only location.
Important: Parking at BHS does not allow walking to the event. It is strictly for those who want to stay in their vehicles and enjoy the show from there.
