The Carolina Beach Ocean Rescue placed 2nd in Division C at the 2025 United States Lifesaving Association (USLA) National Championships, held in Huntington State Beach, California. The team competed against other ocean rescue teams from across the United States, placing in several events and ultimately placing in their division.

The USLA National Lifeguard Championship allows ocean rescue teams from across the U.S. to test and display their lifesaving skills, water safety knowledge, and physical endurance. It also provides the opportunity to show the public what skills and abilities are required of professional lifeguards.

Carolina Beach Ocean Rescue would like to thank the community for its continued support, which plays a vital role in the team's success and preparedness.
