Italy has truly captured my heart! 🇮🇹❤️ From the moment Colleen and I arrived in Rome for our Travel Advisor trip, every experience has been special.
We’ve enjoyed delicious Italian cuisine, my first Aperol Spritz, tiramisu gelato, and an incredible evening golf cart tour exploring Rome’s iconic landmarks, including the breathtaking Colosseum and Trevi Fountain illuminated at night.
We’ve wandered through beautiful streets, admired centuries of history, met wonderful people, and soaked in the charm of this amazing country.
One of the highlights was visiting the Vatican Museums, St. Peter’s Basilica, and the Sistine Chapel. Walking through these magnificent places, surrounded by centuries of history, extraordinary art, and such deep spiritual significance, was truly awe-inspiring. Seeing Michelangelo’s masterpieces and experiencing the beauty of the Vatican was something I will always treasure.
Now, waking up at Villa Giada to spectacular sea views, with our cruise ship arriving nearby, feels like a dream!
Italy has been on my heart for so long, and I am beyond grateful to finally experience its beauty. And the best part? Our seven-night Mediterranean cruise exploring more of Italy, Greece, and Turkey is just beginning! 🛳️🌊✨
