By commissions rather that charging my clients. What's the difference between me and calling the cruise lines directly? Cruise Lines and Tours have already calculated commissions into their price so if you book through them they 'pocket' the money rather that pay an agent. I am a member of ASTA (American Society of Travel Agents), CLIA (Cruise Line International Association), IATAN (International Association Travel Agents Network) and ARC (Airline Reporting Corporation). I am my own agency with my own #'s and certifications and not a member host or biased agency. As a full service travel agent I sell to Individuals and Groups. Honeymooners and Families. Flight disruption across the globe will continue so pack your patience and be prepared.

Due to severe and escalating conflicts in the Middle East with closure of key airspaces - airlines have canceled or rerouted thousands of flights which creates a ripple effect on global travel.

You ask how - if a flight from Germany can't get to New York it effects the flight from New York to Omaha, Kansas City, Grand Rapids and so on and on and on. That created a bottleneck for all flights to and from multiple airports.

Plus the our partial government shutdown isn't helping.
