🏮 Imagine standing in the streets of Aomori, Japan, surrounded by massive illuminated floats towering above you, taiko drums echoing through the night, and thousands of dancers moving through the streets in a celebration that has been happening for centuries. That is the Nebuta Festival, one of Japan's most iconic summer events, and it is one of the centerpieces of this sailing..

Beth is hosting a 12-night group cruise aboard the Celebrity Millennium departing Tokyo on July 26, 2027 and she has limited cabins remaining.

Beth has traveled Japan multiple times, and when she sat down to find the right sailing to bring clients on, this itinerary stood out immediately. The ports this cruise opens up give guests an extraordinary cross-section of the country: from the electric energy of Tokyo to the cultural depth of Kyoto and Osaka, the relaxed coastal charm of Kochi, an international day in Busan, South Korea, the stunning scenery of Hakodate, and two full days in Aomori for the Nebuta Festival.

For someone who has never been to Japan, this sailing is genuinely one of the best introductions to the country. For someone who has been before, it reaches corners of Japan that most itineraries never touch.

The Celebrity Millennium, a Forbes Four-Star rated ship refurbished in 2019, is your home base throughout. The ship includes a spa, adults-only Solarium, Sunset Bar, live entertainment, and Starlink Wi-Fi onboard.

Your fare includes a Classic Beverage Package, all of your meals onboard, basic Wi-Fi, and all onboard entertainment.
Oceanview Stateroom: $4,669 total for two passengers
Veranda Stateroom: $6,401 total for two passengers
Deposit to hold your cabin: $900
Final payment due: April 27, 2027

Limited cabins remain. If Japan has been on your list (and especially if you have never experienced a Japanese festival at this scale), this is the trip. Send us a message or visit the link in our bio to learn more and reserve your spot.

"What's the one thing most travelers wish they'd done differently?"

I have been asked this question in one form or another for years, and the answer is remarkably consistent no matter who I ask or what trip they took.

They wish they had not waited so long.

Not waited to book it. Not waited for the kids to get a little older, for work to slow down, for the timing to feel more right. Not waited until the person they always said they would take on that trip was no longer able to go.

The travelers who come back with the fewest regrets are almost never the ones who planned the perfect trip. They are the ones who decided, committed, and went. The trip takes care of the rest.

I think about this every summer when I see our clients' photos come in. The happiness and memories in those pictures is never about the hotel room or the cabin category or whether the weather cooperated every single day. It is about the people, the moments, and the simple fact that they went. That they chose the memory over the hesitation.

If there is a trip on your list that has been waiting for the right time, I want you to know something: the right time is almost never as far away as it feels. Sometimes it just takes one conversation to see that clearly.

Send us a message. Tell me the trip. Let's find out how close you actually are. Beth and I would love to help you make memories with your loved ones!

🏔️ Six spots. One of the world's great train journeys. June 2027.

Last year we were leading a group through Tuscany when someone asked the question that started all of this: where do we go next? Switzerland kept coming up and we came home and built the trip.

Here is what the June 2027 Scenic Switzerland by Train journey looks like:

Nine days. Six cities. Four of the most celebrated train routes in the world.

You arrive in Zurich and spend the next nine days moving through Lucerne, Interlaken, Montreux, Lausanne, and Zermatt (where the group rides Europe's highest open-air rack railway to the summit for views of the Matterhorn that will stop you mid-sentence, pictured below).

The signature moment of the entire trip is the Glacier Express from Zermatt to St. Moritz, traveling through 91 tunnels and across 291 bridges through some of the most breathtaking alpine scenery on the planet.

The trip ends with a Bernina Express excursion into Tirano, Italy (a UNESCO World Heritage railway) before returning to Zurich for a farewell dinner with the group.

This is not a bus tour. This is Switzerland the way Switzerland was meant to be seen: from the window of trains that make the journey itself the destination.

Travel dates: June 17–26, 2027
Price: $3,999 per person, double occupancy
Deposit to hold your spot: $250 per person
Final payment due: April 19, 2027
Pricing does not include international airfare. Single supplement available for solo travelers.

We have 6 spots remaining on a trip that already has several travelers confirmed and counting. Send us a message or drop a comment below and we will get you everything you need to decide.

"Do travel agents cost more than booking direct?"

This might be the most common misconception in the travel industry, and I want to clear it up once and for all.

Our team is compensated through commissions paid by the cruise lines, tour operators, hotels, and suppliers we book through — commissions that exist whether you use an advisor or not.

When you book direct, that commission stays with the supplier. When you book through us, it compensates us for our time and expertise, and your price stays exactly the same (and sometimes we can get you an even better rate).

What you get on top of that is everything the supplier's website cannot give you...

You get someone who has researched the options, knows the product, understands the fine print, and is personally invested in making sure your trip goes exactly the way you planned it.

You get an advocate in your corner if something goes wrong before or during travel.

And you get the kind of honest guidance that a booking algorithm is simply not capable of - someone who will tell you when a trip is not the right fit and help you find the one that is.

The question was actually never whether a travel agent costs more. The real question is why you would leave that kind of expertise on the table when it costs you nothing to have it.

We would love to be your team. Send us a message and let's start the conversation. Beth and I are excited about fall & winter bookings this year and summer 2027 is starting to open up more and more, too!
