✍🏾🌍💐Still giving thanks for our Mother’s life. The memories are flooding, and it is a comfort. Today’s lesson in it all for me — Let Your Life Speak. Still in awe and grateful for our Mother’s intentionality. And her intentionality to be kind among many other things. Kindness is a fruit of the Spirit. I am remembering this and so many details today. The power of her kindness and to be kind to everyone. The fruit of the Spirit is love…. and kindness…” —Galatians 5

Our Mom Mama Alma was a #1 Supporter and Thought Partner and Prayer Partner to the founding of . She supported and seeded my Global Assignment since 2002 and before when we first began in Chicago, then South Africa and now Rwanda. Now you and all interested can make a donation or Ubuntu Founding Partner gift in her honor.

🎵🎶🎧❤️💖A tribute to Mom is not complete without music. A Life Soundtrack of Luther Vandross, Stevie Wonder, Brian Courtney, and more. When I was 5, she took me and Jeff to our first Jackson 5 concert with so many others to follow. The Commodores, Earth Wind and Fire, Luther Vandross, Diana Ross, the Jacksons so many times. We have been a singing family to so many of her favorites. I am grateful.

Global Family & Friends!
We are launching Africa Exhale Retreats in Rwanda.

Ubuntu Global Collective creates restorative, culturally rooted experiences for leaders, founders, entrepreneurs, and changemakers who spend so much of their lives carrying responsibility for others.

Our retreats create space to pause, breathe, reflect, reconnect with purpose, and return renewed.

We are raising support to launch this work with care—through local partnerships, retreat preparation, Ubuntu Fellows scholarships, and meaningful investment in the communities that welcome us.

If this vision speaks to you, would you consider making a gift or sharing our campaign today? Comment or DM or UBUNTU.

✅💚 Become an Ubuntu Partner today. See profile, comments or DM for the info.

✍🏾🌍Global Family! When I landed in Rwanda for the first time in 2022, a tremendous weight lifted off my shoulders. I did not realize that I was burnout, stressed out and needed a break, a pause, a place to EXHALE, breathe and be.

I returned to Rwanda later that year to write my doctoral thesis “Healing Racism from the Inside Out.” I returned in 2023 as a Do Good X Fellow, and in Rwandan and Global Community, developed these very Africa Exhale Retreats that we are launching today. I realize that these retreats and our work is made exactly for this time. I pray that you will join us on the jourrney, as an Ubuntu Partner and donor and/or as one who will join us on one of our Ubuntu Journeys and Africa Exhale Retreats in Rwanda.

If this vision speaks to you and you want to be a part, comment REFRESH & RENEW to learn more and join us!

Ubuntu means “I am because WE are” and “people are people THROUGH othersl” Breathe. Exhale. REFRESH, Renew. Come journey with us! http://spot.fund/Journey
