The Fabulous bad ass Tess Sanchez's book is being released April 1st and she will be in Chicago at City Lit Books 4/8 for a book signing and there will be and Industry Invited event on 4/9 with a Q and A and book signing at Kinowerks in Ravenswood. 📣 Zoom fundraiser for Movement Voter Project on Tues October 8th 7PM - 8PM ET/4PM - 5PM PT. I would be thrilled if you could join us - RSVP at the link in my stories. 📣

This election is too important not to "do something", so I have joined with over 100 casting and other entertainment professionals as members of Casting Votes for Kamala to do everything we can to make sure we win in November. In addition to phone banking, canvassing, postcarding and GOTV initiatives, we are supporting this fundraiser for Movement Voter Project.

Movement Voter Project is an extraordinary organization and I am asking that you join me in supporting MVP to fund the grassroots organizations on the ground that will make the difference in November. We know this election will be razor thin and the organizations supported by MVP will make the difference -- if they have enough resources. “We’re excited to share another work by Dorian Sylvain, a 2023 Next Level Awardee as part of our Spotlight series!

“Colors of Community incorporates symbols and colors that are a part of the Auburn Gresham visual landscape. The project is composed of two murals promoting the neighborhood’s cultural legacy by featuring Adinkra symbols painted by community members representing Creativity, Nature, Energy, Hope, Safety, Knowledge, and Strength. The mural utilizes bright colors and patterns to amplify residents from the neighborhood and the community’s strengths, celebrate the community’s arts and culture, and enhance the overall quality of life of Auburn Gresham.”
