🌟 My Epic Weekend Recap! 🌟
Friday was, in a word… EPIC! 🪐
Universal Orlando’s Epic Universe absolutely lives up to its name. We explored all five incredible worlds, and each one was a completely immersive experience!
🎮 Super Nintendo World
I loved this one and cannot wait to bring my boys back here! Riding Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge was so much fun, but the real magic was exploring the land with Power-Up Bands — it truly felt like stepping inside a Super Mario Bros. game. The sounds and energy brought me straight back to my childhood (where’s my old Power Pad when I need it?!).
🐉 How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk
The biggest surprise for me! I’m not super familiar with the films, so I wasn’t expecting to be completely blown away — but I was! The attractions and character interactions were my overall favorites.
✨ Hiccup’s Wing Gliders was my top ride of the entire park — exciting and fun without being too intense (perfect for coaster-cautious folks like me).
🔥 Need to cool off? Hop on the Fyre Drill boat ride for a splash of fun!
🧛 Dark Universe
This land makes you forget the rest of the park exists! Step into Darkmoor Village, a gothic realm where Universal’s Classic Monsters come to life. You might bump into Dracula, The Wolf Man, Frankenstein’s Monster, and more.
💥 My surprise hit here? Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment — so good we rode it twice in a row! And don’t skip the Burning Blade Tavern — it’s already a fan favorite!
🪄 The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic
Another show-stopper from Universal! This stunning new land blends the charm of 1920s wizarding Paris (from Fantastic Beasts) with the grandeur of the British Ministry of Magic.
⚡ The headliner ride, Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry, is incredible — and the queue is just as impressive as the attraction itself!
✨ Celestial Park – the heart of Epic Universe!
This gorgeous central hub ties all the lands together. Here, you’ll find the Stardust Racers coaster (a thrill-seeker’s dream — I’ll cheer you on from the ground 😅), the whimsical Constellation Carousel, and Astronomica, a splash pad for cooling off. It’s also the perfect spot to grab a snack, sip a themed drink, and relax between adventures.
I had the best time exploring Epic Universe and can’t wait to return with the whole family! If you’re planning a trip or thinking about it — now’s the time. 🎟️
