Important ID requirements when traveling by air, Luckily Florida Drivers License is approved by TSA, but there are 7 or 8 states that are not so if you have family members in one of these states you might want to advise them, check out the links below.
Also, when cruising it is highly recommended you use a passport, however when cruising out and back into a US port you can use a drivers license and original birth certificate. Women must carry a copy of their marriage license now. If an emergency arises and you need to fly home from a foreign country, you might have trouble getting back in with out a passport, which is why it is highly recommended to travel with a passport.
