🚤 Attention Vega Visitors 🚤

Due to low water levels, the Island Boat Ramp will close for the season on Wednesday, August 28th at 4:00 PM.

⛔ Early Settlers Boat Ramp remains closed.

✅ Hand launching of boats/paddleboards will still be allowed after August 28.

🕗We will continue to offer ANS (Aquatic Nuisance Species) boat inspections for motorized hand launched vessels (i.e. trolling motors, small outboard, electric motors, etc.) from 8 am to 4 pm at the Visitor Center.

Thank you for your cooperation in keeping Vega safe and enjoyable for everyone and we look forward to next summer of boating with all of you! 🌲💧

The beauty of Colorado 🥰💜

Marshall Pass, Colorado
Yesterday, my daughter and I went for one of our "sunset drives". We ended up at the top of Marshall Pass, walked around, and happened to see this beautiful spot just in time for sunset.

In October of 2020, Roger and LaDonna Ames made the move to this beautiful and historic property in beautiful Collbran, Colorado. They named it The Clover Patch in recognition of its amazing history.

"The vision we had for the Clover Patch might feel overwhelming to most. Some days it feels that way to us too. But since renovations began in February of 2021, the transformation has been amazing, if we do say so ourselves. We were baffled by the previous layout and determined changes needed to be made. As renovations began, walls were torn down while others were moved until the layout made sense to us. That vision was an open, welcoming living area with 3 bedrooms instead of 2. We've replaced flooring, installed newer fixtures and appliances, painted and furnished every room with simplicity and guest comfort in mind.

We'd love for you to visit!"
