It's September 1st. Is it acceptable to talk about spooky season now? 👻😆

One of my favorite seasonal treats, the Ghoulish Beignets, is back at Port Orleans French Quarter for the season and they are a delight! Fluffy fried dough (shaped like Mickey!), cookies and creme coating, a marshmallow drizzle, what's not to love?! 😍

​Disney just shared a sneak peek at the brand-new dining locations coming to Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge, projected to open in Summer 2027 at Walt Disney World Resort.

​Nestled right on the shores of Bay Lake, this nature-inspired resort is blending stunning waterfront views, subtle Disney storytelling, and incredible food & drink concepts. Here is a look at what you'll find there:

​🌙 Moonglade (Table-Service)
​For an enchanting lakeside meal, Moonglade will feature floor-to-ceiling windows framing the arching cypress trees along Bay Lake. Guests can expect a menu focused on seasonal and locally sourced ingredients, artful lighting, and sweeping water views.

​☕ Bay Lake Provisions (Quick-Service Marketplace)
​The ultimate spot to fuel up before rope drop or recharge after a pool day! This open-kitchen marketplace will offer specialty coffees and fresh fare served all day. Look out for woodland critters inspired by classic Disney films tucked throughout the space!

​🎨 Paint Out Point Bar & Grill (Poolside Dining)
​Located near Lakeshore Lagoon and surrounded by The Wetlands, this pool bar is the place to relax in the sun. Highlights include shareable bites and specialty beverages. The ​design features original artwork created by Disney Imagineers who drew inspiration directly from Bay Lake landscapes.

​🎆 Dandelion Terrace
​When night falls, this will be one of the most sought-after spots on property!
​Gather to watch the Magic Kingdom Park fireworks light up the sky over Bay Lake. The design evokes Disney nostalgia with a two-story gallery showcasing archival artwork from Disney classics like Fantasia.

​Summer 2027 can't come soon enough! If you know me at all, you know Wilderness Lodge and the Cabins at Fort Wilderness are two of my favorite places to stay on Disney property. I can't wait to check out this new addition to Bay Lake!
