✈️ Travel Tip Tuesday

One of my favorite travel tips is to research the destination beyond the major attractions.

Some of our favorite travel memories have come from discovering unique local spots that weren't on the typical tourist itinerary—like the Tipsy Duck Parlor in St. Augustine during our spring break trip.

A little research before you travel can lead to some truly memorable experiences.

Or better yet... hire a travel advisor who enjoys doing the research for you. 😄

🌸 Travel Inspiration Can Be Found Anywhere

I spotted this beautiful daylily blooming in our backyard over the weekend and learned that daylilies originated in East Asia, including China, Korea, and Japan.

It made me think about how many plants, foods, and traditions we enjoy every day have traveled thousands of miles and crossed cultures before becoming part of our lives.

Travel isn't always about getting on a plane. Sometimes it's about discovering the stories behind the things right in front of us.

Some want family fun, while others want a quiet balcony and breathtaking destinations.

The "best" cruise line isn't the same for everyone—it's the one that matches your travel style.

🌍✈️ Travel Tip Tuesday

Before any international trip, take photos or scans of your important travel documents and save them in a secure location.

Some of the most important items to have copies of include:

✅ Passport
✅ Driver's license
✅ Travel insurance information
✅ Flight confirmations
✅ Hotel reservations
✅ Tour or cruise documents

My son is getting ready for a trip to Europe next month, and this is one of the things we'll be doing before he leaves.

Hopefully, he'll never need those copies—but if a passport is lost, a phone goes missing, or travel plans change unexpectedly, having backup information can make a stressful situation much easier to navigate.

A little preparation before you travel can provide a lot of peace of mind once you're there.
