Meet the Yellowhead Jawfish, also known as the Pearly Jawfish.

Males are famous for being “mouthbrooders,” carefully carrying the female’s eggs in their mouths until they hatch. 🐟

📍 Habitat: Sandy bottoms near reef edges
🍽️ Diet: Zooplankton & tiny crustaceans
📏 Size: Up to 4 in (10 cm)
