Local goods!

We are getting hyper local at Pamela’s Pints & Provisions this weekend. We have a fabulous Morel Mushroom and Ramp Quiche featured special this weekend. Paired with greens and our favorite freshly baked local sourdough. We are also serving up a Pear and Gorgonzola Flatbread, the Provisions Salad with rotisserie chicken, avocado and house made vinaigrette, and Loaded Potato Soup. Come in hungry!

Come visit Laurel Caverns

It’s official! Pennsylvania has a new state park!

Laurel Caverns is our 125th state park and our first-ever subterranean state park. Laurel Caverns is one of the largest calcareous sandstone caves in the world and one of the steepest!

The cave has more than four miles of passages to explore. This is such a wonderful addition to our already stellar state park system!

Ideal time to give xc skiing a try. They have rentals and well marked trails.

Another snow filled weekend ahead!
Friday 1-3” powder on top the 10-16” base
All trails are open and groomed. Red trail is groomed for skating.
OPEN FRIDAY-MONDAY 9-5pm.

We received 5-6” overnight. The base is a solid 6+. Grooming will start tonight and be polished in the morning. The skiing is going to primo tomorrow. Saturday temps are cold but that’s the beauty of xc skiing-EASY TO STAYWARM 🔥
Sunday is up in the air but it’s looking very likely we are getting a big storm 12-18”! Let’s talk…
Our base is solid, temps are on our side. We will have everything packed and ready. The snow will be a cold snow so more than likely there will be ample freshies all day long with a firm base. My favorite kind of skiing, the kind of skiing that you hear a zing as you descend and light pounce of snow to the shin! Stay tuned, stay warm, stay safe and come ski the best snow in a decade 🎉

We are OPEN 9-5pm
3” overnight on top of 3-4” from Thursday with a couple more forecasted throughout today. The temps are forecasted below freezing with snow for the next 10 days. Front side and orange will be groomed. Stay tuned for trail photos, track and skating conditions.

Weather models are consistently showing the Laurel Highlands (specifically Laurel Ridge) in the 4-5” range overnight into tomorrow 🎉
