Texas Floating Classroom Mission: To provide hands-on marine education and a platform for research to students of the Texas Coastal Bend and beyond!

Texas Floating Classroom was established to assure that the students of the Coastal Bend are never without an educational vehicle from which to learn about their waters. Our mission is to provide a platform from which students of all ages can both learn and enjoy learning by experience. This platform is useful to both k-12 students and also research students and scientists. We offer a wide range of experiences and experiments.

The Coastal Bend Bays foundation is giving the program "The Environemtal Award" for environmental champions!!! Its Captain Whitney's second such award for the amazing work she does spreading the message of environmental awareness.
