The countdown is officially on! ✨

Disney’s newest Walt Disney World Resort is set to open July 1, 2027, and Disney has just revealed a first look at the incredible nature-inspired guest rooms coming to Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge! 🌿🏰

Reservations are expected to open in early October, so if this resort is on your Disney vacation wish list, now is the time to start planning!

Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge will feature a variety of accommodations, all blending natural materials, earthy colors and original artwork inspired by Disney films and the beauty of the great outdoors.

Margaritaville at Sea is officially coming to Galveston, Texas!

Beginning October 2027, Margaritaville at Sea is scheduled to begin sailing from the Port of Galveston, giving Texans another exciting cruise option right in their backyard.

🌴 What we know so far:
• 📅 First sailings are expected to begin October 2027
• 🚢 The specific ship has not yet been announced
• 🗺️ Itineraries and destinations are still to be revealed
• 🛳️ Cruises are expected to operate primarily from Cruise Terminal 28
• 🎸 Expect the laid-back, tropical Margaritaville atmosphere the brand is known for
• 🎶 Live music, entertainment, casual dining, tropical bars and plenty of island vibes will be part of the experience

This is especially exciting for travelers throughout Texas and the surrounding states who want a cruise vacation without having to fly to Florida!

And with Disney Cruise Line, Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Princess and now Margaritaville at Sea sailing from Galveston, there are more choices than ever for Texas cruisers. 🚢🤠

Airport Luggage Transfer is expanding to Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort! Starting August 18, eligible guests flying domestically through MCO on Southwest, American, or United can have their checked luggage transferred between the airport and participating Disney Resort hotels.

Participating resorts include:

All-Star Movies
All-Star Music
All-Star Sports
Art of Animation
Pop Century!

This is one less thing to worry about now when traveling to the Magic.
