Commercial Products, Inc. is a locally owned business established in 1976, originally operating as J.W. Hall - Builder and incorporated in the State of Texas into Commercial Products, Inc. in the fall of 1981. The primary business activity has been in the field of commercial office "build outs" including all interior finish and millwork. CPI has been servicing the Corpus Christi community
, as well as South Texas for the past 35 years. CPI ventured into the design/build aspect of construction about 26 years ago. A major portion of our annual volume in these past 26 years was derived from design/build projects where the design team may have varied but CPI has been the major component of the build team. The opportunities attributed to design/build in lieu of standard bid project allows one to utilize past experiences and the imagination. The choice of construction products that are most appropriate for a specific building use allows variety, flexibility, availability and function for each project. Using available material allows better control of project expenses, enhancement of architectural appeal and maintenance of building integrity. A well-developed construction timeline is fashioned to expedite the construction, utilize the diverse abilities of staff / subcontractors and in turn will produce the best product for the client investment. CPI has been very successful in maintaining a good solid reputation and enduring as a viable business concern through our history. CPI is a long time member of Associated Builders and Contractors (A.B.C.) and the Corpus Christi Greater Business Alliance both of which became ongoing clients. CPI is also a member of the Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce, the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) and the Better Business Bureau (BBB). CPI is a General Contractor that also operates as a prime subcontractor for several distinctive local general contractors when necessary.
