Cuba is like the neighbor next door that you rarely see, but about whom you're intensely curious.

Traveling to Cuba is like traveling in a time machine.

Below the waters, you get to see what the Caribbean was like 30+ years ago. Pristine coral reefs, huge schools of fish, and loads of big groupers and sharks at every dive site! It is mind blowing!

Topside, Havana is a historic, beautiful city that is a photographer's dream, filled with gorgeous colonial-era buildings punctuated by colorful vintage 1950s cars.

We truly embrace the idea of global travel. As we speak, we have expedition groups in Iceland and the Marshall Islands!

The Marshall Islands trip is an exciting exploratory trip, where the group is diving some well-known wrecks but also heading off into some uncharted territory to explore new dive sites. So far, the reports from the group are that this is a "must see" area...

We'll be setting up new trips to the Marshall Islands for 2027 and beyond. Stay tuned for more about this exciting destination!

Total solar eclipses are rare - and experiencing them from one of the most beautiful places on earth where the eclipse reached totality? INCREDIBLE. Here's a few photos from yesterday, when two expedition groups from Blue Green Expeditions got to take in the eclipse in Iceland!

Blue Green Expeditions is in Iceland just in time for the incredible solar eclipse happening on August 12th! But that's not all that our expedition team are seeing... they've circled the island, taking in waterfalls, seeing puffin colonies, and of course - they're diving!

Thanks to our friends in Iceland for sharing these spectacular photos of their experiences... just gorgeous.

We are super excited about this event...

The "Water Odyssey" is heading to the beautiful Monterey Bay Aquarium located in Monterey, California.

Who says learning can’t be fun?

We don’t, that’s for sure…

A fun fact about Faith: Before she was a diving pioneer and the owner of Blue Green Expeditions, Faith was a high school teacher.

This means that learning and education are part of our DNA at Blue Green Expeditions… and every year, we try to support and promote learning about our oceans and the sciences associated with preserving our precious marine environments.

Earlier this year, we had a few students aboard our Antarctica expedition. On the voyage, they piloted the use of a “paper ROV kit” which is designed to teach students about the ins and outs of ROV construction and operation. In essence, it is a ROV simulator that you can use without getting wet!

From its debut in Antarctica with Blue Green Expeditions (thanks to Erica Moulton) to a now fully working kit being used by students at the Curious Minds Scuba Foundation camp in the Keys, we are proud to have played a small part in making big strides for student experiential learning in the sciences.
