That’s how many official members we have in KHMYP. A little insane considering it all started with an idea I simply wouldn’t let go of.

In summer 2024, ALG Vacations gave me the opportunity to attend their Kindness Conference, putting me in a room with other young travel advisors. I came home knowing I wanted more of that… not just for myself, but for others too.

So I started pushing. A proposal, a LOT of meetings and presentations later, KHM said yes.

Two years later, we just got home from our first KHMYP FAM (familiarization trip)!!!

There are so many people who helped turn my crazy little idea into something real. Jacki Marks & ALG, thank you for inspiring me in the first place and supporting me every step of the way. KHM Travel- Host Travel Agency, thank you for trusting us with this and continuing to give us room to grow.

Amy, thank you for believing in me from literal day one and fighting alongside me to make it happen. Maddi & Emily, thank you for pouring SO much into what we’ve built. Amy may be “graduating” from us soon, but I have a feeling the three of us are going to cause plenty of trouble without her. Travel industry, watch out.😉

Tim, thank you for making our monthly Zoom happy hours feel like home. And to every OG-YP who showed up when this was literally just a bowling meetup… and every person who has joined us since… thank you for believing in this little idea too.

Two years ago, I just wanted young people in this industry to have a space. So we built one. And somehow, I think we’re just getting started. 🤍
