New to me paddle at Kincaid Lake State Park in Kentucky.

My first thought for one of the pictures was that I should have sucked my gut in…but you know what?

I’m proud that this body, even with all its imperfections, just paddled for hours, and it kept balance so I didn’t fall in.

If I waited for the perfect body I’d never do anything fun and I wasted my 20s not realizing what I had at the time.

Don’t let a bad pic/body insecurity rob you of remembering an awesome adventure!

Tubing in downtown Helen on the Chattahoochee River is so much FUN!!!

It’s the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure with some mini rapids along the way.

Cool River Tubing offers 1 and 2-hour paddles.

We opted for the 1 hour for time constraints and still felt like we had enough time on the river.

If we had more time, we would’ve tried the 2-hour.

Tip- get the stick- it’s a big help if you get stuck on a rock along the way

The inner tubes also have bottoms, so you don’t feel the cooler water or “crocodile rocks” as often 🤣
