Fourteen years ago today, my husband and I stood on a beach in Hawaii and said "I do."

What started as an intimate elopement became the beginning of a lifetime of adventures together. Looking back, I wouldn't change a thing.

Over the years, I've helped countless couples plan destination weddings and elopements around the world, and one thing remains true: there is no "right" way to get married. Whether you dream of a beachfront ceremony with just the two of you, a mountaintop vow exchange, or a destination celebration surrounded by family and friends, your wedding should reflect your story.

As a travel advisor, I love helping couples navigate the logistics so they can focus on what matters most - celebrating their love and creating memories that will last far longer than a single day.

Today, as we celebrate 14 years of marriage, I'm feeling especially grateful that our wedding day was also the start of a life filled with travel, adventure, and unforgettable moments together.

The Eve of our 14th wedding anniversary 💕
This weekend wasn't about checking off bucket-list experiences or seeing famous landmarks.

It was about slow mornings, wandering through a small Wisconsin town, sharing meals, laughing at inside jokes, and simply enjoying each other's company.

As a travel advisor, I spend a lot of time helping people plan incredible adventures. But this weekend was a reminder that some of life's best memories aren't found in grand plans or faraway places.

They're found in the small moments.

A cup of coffee together. A walk with nowhere particular to be. A conversation that lasts longer than expected. Time spent with the person who's been by your side through it all.

Celebrating another year of marriage and feeling grateful for the simple things that make life so meaningful. ❤️

Because at the end of the day, it's often the little moments we remember most.

OUT-OF-OFFICE ✌🏻
I am out of the office until and including Monday, June 15. Taking a few days to celebrate our wedding anniversary. ❤️
This is a much needed break for both of us.
I will only be available for clients currently traveling.

Check out this wonderful mother-daughter duo enjoying Part 1 of their European adventure - Italy! 🇮🇹

Even though their trip started with a hiccup and a canceled flight, they didn't let that ruin their celebratory adventure (congrats Morgan on your graduation again!).

They started in Rome, then traveled to the Amalfi for some much needed rest in Sorrento and Positano.

While staying at a 3rd location (they still had 3 more to go at that point of the trip!), they emailed me this:

"Thank you for booking such wonderful places for us - we truly couldn't be happier with everything so far!"

🥹🥹🥹 I'm not crying, you’re crying.
It means the world to me to know that my clients are loving their trips and places I recommend them.

Now, I can't wait to hear what they have to say about Part 2 of their adventure - Greece 🇬🇷 when they're back home soon.

Yes, the hours are long, the stress is on a different level.... but being able to run my business the way I want to, being able to say 'No' to projects that don't align with my vision, and having an opportunity to grow without limitations has been what I needed.

Being a business owner is not for the faint of heart, but we're doing it! You CAN do it, too!
