✨ The Journey in Life is Integral to It’s Beauty. ✨ … are the words I heard when I looked at this postcard sitting upon the bookshelf in my home office this morning.

I often collect postcards made by other artists when I travel. I love the idea of sharing creativity and inspiration, while supporting local artists and sustainability. This image of a little girl walking her manatee in their little world moved my heart with a certain nostalgic sweetness when it crossed my path during my most recent visit to Key West.

Created by Key West Artists, Leif & Loren Ilvedson in 2023, this image, entitled, “Journey” can be purchased at their street side kiosk outside their studio on Whitehead.

Is It Possible for to BE RELAX-ed in the Midst of a Busy Airport?

Whether arriving, departing, or passing through BE-ing RELAX-ed while traveling through an airport may seem like a foreign concept to many travelers, but this was not the case for me during a recent visit to IAH! My neck and shoulders and next were feeling the pain and ick of an overnight flight, having arrived early in the morning on an international flight, when I encountered BE RELAX Spa while passing through the concourses enroute to my next gate. I received a warm welcome and professional from Eli, a gifted massage therapist, who has been in practice for over a decade. He is by far the best chair massage therapist, I have ever met. In just 30 minutes, my neck and shoulders woes were gone, and my mind was completely relaxed from the anxiety I often feel around flying. After the chair massage, I decided to try the full body “Human Touch”massage recliner, which further helped restored my sense of well being as it worked out tension from my low back and legs I felt from sleeping in a sitting upright in a chair during the all night flight. If you have the good fortune to connect through IAH, I highly recommend taking a little time for self care while traversing the airport. As a long standing health care professional, as well as owner of travel agency specializing in Small Group Adventures, I can attest that managing stress effectively during travel, makes the journey all that much more, enjoyable! —💖🌎

A Community of Women, Right-Minded towards each other, working together for the good of the community. ✨You never see one puffing herself up to the detriment of another. There is no competition, and therefore no room for undercutting. ✨The gifts of each individual is recognized, and revered, as an integral part of the Wholesomeness that is, Community Itself. A certain, unspoken, synergistic flow dances amongst them, as they naturally step in to assist each other in achieving their goal(s), which include: Local sovereignty, Compassionate stewardship, and Ecological sustainability.

When I saw this display a few days ago, I couldn’t help wondering: ✨ Do s ever get cervicogenic headaches, or back pain? ✨ Do they have a or who travels with them in their pod?

Featured in this photo are whale vertebrae found ashore at the Paracas National Reserve + my left index finger to demonstrate the grand scale of the structure of a whale’s spine, and I’ll go out on a limb here to speculate that this was one of the smaller whales out there in the big blue yonder
