Our resident blue herons in the front yard have new names! Flynn and Mingo are the pink flamingos in the pool enclosure. A recent guest suggested Bluey and Bingo and we love it!!! Bluey and Bingo are looking forward to your next visit. Thank you Helen Robinson for your suggestion!

New updates to the 4th bedroom. Full size bed with a twin trundle. The trundle is surprisingly comfortable! A few new Disney touches too.

Did you put off planning a summer getaway? Flamingo Oasis has July 12th to 26th available! As an added bonus, that is right after we stay there, so the summer updates will be completed!

It is time for the 4th bedroom with 2 twin-size beds that we call the "Disney Bedroom" to get some attention and new beds.
What would work best for your family's needs?
2 new twin-size beds (same layout as currently).
A bunk bed with a twin on top, a full-size mattress on the bottom,
or a full-size bed with a slide-out twin-size trundle.

We arrived for our March visit last night. So good to be home and see all is well at Flamingo Oasis. We even found a new addition to the villa from our last guest. A spoon rest from Epcot Italy that matches my favorite mug. How thoughtful! We have the best guests! Looking forward to a great visit here. Look for more updates soon.

We have some open dates coming up in March, April and May if anyone is interested in a quick spring getaway. March 20th to 29th, April 15th to 22nd and May 25th to 31st.

Merrry Christmas. 10 weeks after hurricane Milton blew through, we have a new pool enclosure! I still miss the white, it went so well with the color scheme of the villa, but the dark looks so nice. I’ll post more on a sunny day and when we get the lights re-hung.

The Orlando area and Highland Reserve where Flamingo Oasis is located is cleaning up after Hurricane Milton. There was no damage to the house, but the pool cage collapsed from high winds. We are working with insurance to get it replaced as soon as possible. We’re relieved no one was hurt and the house itself was not damaged. Don’t worry the Flamingos, Flynn and Mingo were safely inside during the storm.

We arrived at flamingo oasis last night to a rainbow and beautiful sunset. We’re looking forward to a good week “home” and making sure everything here is in good shape.
