🔥 TIMBER FIRE UPDATE (updated 8/22, 4:30pm)— HWY 1 IS FULLY RE-OPENED AS OF SATURDAY 8/22 — Treebones is accessible via HWY NORTH or SOUTH
The Timber Fire is burning in the Los Padres National Forest near Partington Ridge, north of Treebones, and has grown to approximately 7,500 acres and 29% contained. Huge thank you to the Firefighters, emergency personnel, and everyone who has worked tirelessly to keep our community safe. 🙏

Conditions at Treebones are currently favorable, with good air quality thanks in part to the strong marine layer. Our location also typically benefits from a northwest coastal breeze, which can help keep smoke away from the property. As with any active wildfire, conditions can change, and we are closely monitoring the fire, road conditions, and air quality.
