A new chapter for Detroit’s riverfront is coming… Dan Gilbert has pledged $1 billion toward reimagining the Renaissance Center and transforming the surrounding riverfront with 18 acres of public civic space. These changes will certainly change the view from aboard the Princess! 🚢🌆 What do you think about the plans for the Ren Cen and Detroit’s east riverfront?

It’s so bittersweet to make this post, knowing our 2026 season is officially over and we won’t be back on the water with passengers until spring 2027.

It’s always difficult to find the words, so first and foremost, THANK YOU to all of our staff, our passengers, our captain, and the city of Detroit for another amazing season. We danced, we cruised, we laughed, we loved, and we enjoyed every minute of the 2026 season. ❤️

As we look forward to another amazing year in our hometown, we’ll be preparing the Princess day in and day out to make 2027 a year that tops 2026 (and that won’t be easy!), giving our passengers the best experience possible and helping them continue to make forever memories in Detroit.

We loved every minute of the 2026 cruise season and cannot wait to see all of you next year!

We’ll still be here posting regularly in the meantime, so stay tuned. Until next season, THANK YOU for being part of another incredible year aboard the Detroit Princess! 🚢❤️
