Did you know that Douglas County High School served as a filming location for the first season of the DC series Stargirl in August 2019? Some scenes featured the high school exterior and the football field. This show starred Luke Wilson and Brec Brassinger as Stargirl. Although the show ended in 2022, you can still stream the series on HBO Max.

Here's a throwback! The 2012 Hallmark Hall of Fame TV movie Firelight, starring Cuba Gooding Jr. filmed some of its firefighting and outdoor action scenes on location in Douglas County, Georgia—just north of Douglasville—utilizing local properties for its dramatic wildfire sequences.

The main filming location for the episode "The Torture Chamber" (Season 4, Episode 5) of the Investigation Discovery series Dead Silent was L&R Alpaca Haven Farm in Douglas County, Ga.

This series is filmed entirely on location throughout Georgia. Although the episode's true-crime story is set in rural Texas, the cinematic re-enactments and farm scenes were filmed at the farm.

This episode aired in 2020. Due to the graphic situations, this episode may not be suitable for all viewers. Viewer discretion is advised.

Word around town is that Free Bert Season 2 is filming, and they made a stop in Douglas County, Ga. Free Bert is a Netflix show starring stand-up comedian Bert Kreischer. The show follows a fictionalized version of Kreischer and his family as they move to Beverly Hills after his daughters are accepted into an exclusive private school. Season 1 is currently airing on Netflix. Have you guys watched it yet?
